Magnetic base – the perfect hold for your applications
Magnetic feet are attached to equipment to hold it temporarily for processing, illumination or testing. They are strong, robust and, thanks to the lever for switching the magnetic force, can be reused over and over again. Switching the holding force on and off allows the magnetic foot to be placed and positioned gently.
In addition to different sizes, we also offer a variant with a handle. This can also be used as a lifting magnet for sheets and heavy workpieces.

What is a magnetic base?
A magnetic base is a special magnet holder that is equipped with several threads and can securely fix various objects thanks to its strong magnetic force. This means that measuring stands, cameras, tools and articulated arms can be quickly mounted and adhere to all ferromagnetic surfaces when the magnetic force is applied. Thanks to the thread, you can also easily integrate the magnetic base into existing systems without the need for additional fastening methods. Magnetic bases are very versatile in their application, which is why we have a suitable magnet in our program for every purpose. We offer a variety of sizes and mounting options for requirements in small craft businesses to complex technical equipment and apparatus engineering.
Our article 36192 is additionally equipped with a sturdy handle and can be used as a lifting magnet for transporting metal sheets and workpieces. Advantages of magnetic bases:
- Strong hold: Thanks to the high magnetic force, a magnetic base provides a reliable attachment. The versatile threads allow accessories and tools to be mounted quickly and securely.
- Switchable magnetic force: Most models are switchable and only develop their holding force after the lever is activated. This allows for gentle placement and positioning of the magnetic base.
- Reusable: Magnet feet can be easily removed after the adhesive force has been switched off and reattached in a different location.
- Versatile: From antennas to articulated arms – a magnetic foot can be used in many different areas.
Magnetic bases and their versatile applications
We often mention the versatility of our magnetic base systems, but where exactly are they used? To illustrate this, we have put together a few examples of their use:
- Mounting antennas: In the field of radio and communication technology, magnetic bases are often used to attach antennas. The threaded magnetic base allows for stable and secure mounting of the antenna and a secure hold on metallic surfaces, such as on vehicle roofs, without the need for permanent mounting.
- Industry and mechanical engineering: In production environments and in mechanical engineering, magnetic bases are used to attach tools, sensors, cables or surveillance cameras. They can be quickly and reliably placed on metal surfaces without the need for any elaborate installation. They enable flexible and time-saving solutions for temporary workstations or machine adjustments.
- Workshop and trade: For tradespeople and technicians, magnetic feet are a practical solution for fixing tools, work lights or measuring devices to metallic surfaces. The ability to easily reposition the device by switching the holding force on and off, without having to drill holes, saves time and effort.
- Construction site technology: On modern construction sites, magnetic bases are used to attach safety and lighting equipment. Especially on metal scaffolding or steel columns, magnetic bases offer a flexible way to position technical equipment and to quickly move it as needed.
