Neodymium raw magnets
Neodymium magnets are also known as NdFeB magnets and are the strongest permanent magnets on the market. They consist of the eponymous elements neodymium, iron and boron. Due to their high holding forces, they have become established in many industries: Neodymium magnets are indispensable in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and filter systems.
At Magna-C, you will find neodymium permanent magnets in many different shapes and dimensions. We guarantee the highest quality and affordable price scales. Thanks to our high storage capacity, we can also deliver large quantities of neodymium magnets quickly.
Benefit from 50 years of experience in the magnet industry – certified according to TÜV ISO 9001.

Buy neodymium magnets – NdFeB magnets in many sizes
Neodymium magnets are the strongest of all magnet materials and therefore the most popular permanent magnets on the market. Even in small sizes, they achieve enormous holding forces and far exceed other materials such as ferrite. The abbreviation NdFeB stands for neodymium-iron-boron and describes the composition of the alloy.
To compare how much stronger a NdFeB magnet is compared to ferrite, let's look at a ferrite magnet Ø10x10mm with a holding force of 3.6 Newton. At the same size, the neodymium magnet has a holding force of 35 Newton – almost ten times stronger!
The enormous adhesive force of neodymium magnets opens up numerous possibilities for their use and makes them indispensable for industry and electrical engineering. Sectors such as furniture making, plastics technology and jewelry design also use the magnetic properties of these strong permanent magnets.
You can buy a wide range of different neodymium magnets in the Magna-C magnet shop. The following types are available in our range:
- Disc magnets
- Rod magnets
- Ring magnets
- Block magnets
- Neodymium magnets heat-resistant
Buy strong neodymium magnets for numerous applications
Strong magnets are true marvels of technology and play a crucial role in numerous applications. Whether in medical technology, mechanical engineering or everyday life - strong magnets are indispensable tools. Neodymium is the strongest magnetic material on the market and modern technologies can no longer be imagined without it - they are also used in wind energy.
NdFeB magnets are suitable for much more than just industrial purposes. They are also gaining in importance for DIY projects, furniture and model making, and for the fashion industry. Neodymium magnets can now be purchased in a variety of shapes and sizes. The strong adhesive force combined with the small size allows miniaturization and opens up many creative possibilities. In the Magna-C magnet shop, you will find a large selection of neodymium magnets for your DIY projects.
The neodymium magnet and its properties
A permanent magnet made of neodymium basically consists of three elements: neodymium, iron and boron. These are ground and fused together. The resulting alloy is called NdFeB.
The quality of the magnet is determined by the proportion of neodymium in the alloy. A neodymium magnet with the quality N35 has a neodymium content of 35%. Accordingly, a magnet with a neodymium content of 45% has the magnet quality N45. The higher the number, the higher the maximum energy product of the magnet – an N45 neodymium magnet is therefore stronger than an N35 magnet.
In our Magna-C magnet shop, you can also find heat-resistant neodymium magnets up to 150°C.
Our magnets are of standard quality N42, axially magnetized, nickel-plated and can be used up to 80°C.
What should you watch out for when buying a neodymium magnet?
As a general rule, neodymium magnets are very strong and should be handled with care!
There is little danger with small magnets. When handling them, make sure that the magnet cannot accidentally attach itself to an iron surface. This is how permanent magnets tend to get “lost”. Also avoid hitting the neodymium magnet hard. They are brittle and can splinter quickly when subjected to great force.
Large magnets require more caution when handling because they develop enormous holding forces. Never place your fingers directly between the magnet and its holding surface. This way, you can minimize the risk of injury from crushing.
For this reason, Magna-C supplies large neodymium magnets with a separating disc between the individual magnets. This facilitates handling and prevents injuries. Always follow the safety instructions provided.
