Ferrite pot magnets with cylindrical countersink
Magnets of this type are characterized by their high holding force and very easy assembly. Ferrite pot magnets with a cylindrical countersink are ideal for commercial applications because they are very robust and versatile.
They can withstand temperatures of up to 200°C and can be mounted with a cylinder head screw.
Alternatively, we also have pot magnets with conical countersinking in our range.

Advantages of ferrite magnets with a countersunk cylindrical borehole
These pot magnets combine good holding force with easy assembly and are ideal for commercial applications. The steel cup protects the magnet and at the same time increases the adhesive force. The field lines of the magnet are diverted through the steel to the free adhesive surface and bundled. For this reason, ferrite pot magnets with a countersunk borehole have a higher adhesive force than raw magnets of the same size.
The pot magnet can be quickly mounted by simply screwing it on and is immediately ready for use. Typical applications include use as a holding magnet in the workshop, assembly or in mechanical and tool engineering. Ferrite magnets with a countersunk borehole are also used at the point of sale.
If the holding power of the hard ferrite magnet core is insufficient, we also offer identical pot magnets with neodymium. The holding power of neodymium is many times greater than that of ferrite with the same dimensions. If mounting with a cylinder head screw is not possible, a countersunk head screw can be used as an alternative. We have suitable ferrite pot magnets with conical countersinking in our range for this purpose.
Ferrite countersunk pot magnets with a cylindrical countersink for outdoor use
Many magnets like neodymium are not suitable for outdoor use because they are prone to oxidization. In principle, ferrite magnets are resistant to oxidization and can also be used in environments with increased humidity. The steel pot can rust, but it is always provided with a protective zinc coating. This means that countersunk ferrite pot magnets with a borehole can be used outside without any problems.
When handling them, you should just make sure that the coating on the pot magnet does not chip (for example, due to the application of force).
