Ferrite pot magnets with threaded bushing
Our ferrite pot magnets with threaded bush consist of a disc magnet made of hard ferrite that is built into a steel pot. On the upper outer side of the steel pot is a threaded socket for quick mounting of the magnet. Unlike flat pot magnets with internal thread, this thread is not continuous.
Ferrite pot magnets with a threaded bush are available in both galvanized and white-painted versions. The special feature of the white-painted magnets is that a hook is included in the scope of delivery.

Ferrite pot magnet with screw socket – design and function
The ferrite flat pot magnet with screw socket is a combination of a disc magnet and a steel pot. The hard ferrite disc magnet is embedded in the steel casing and the edges are filled with epoxy. You could say that the steel pot sits like a pot over the magnet.
That is why this type of magnet system is also referred to as a pot magnet.
The flat grip arm with screw socket has its screw thread above the steel cup. The advantage of this is that, unlike magnetic systems with internal screw threads, the magnet does not have to be removed. A disc magnet of the largest possible size can be used, which ensures a strong holding force. This is also the reason why this design has a higher magnetic force than a magnet with an internal screw thread of the same dimensions.
Ferrite pot magnets have a few advantages over raw magnets:
- Raw magnets are brittle and tend to chip or splinter when subjected to direct force. The steel pot protects the magnet and makes it more robust.
- The field lines of the magnet are directed through the steel casing to the open holding surface, which increases the holding force.
- The brittle magnets can be equipped with various attachments through the steel cup. This is not something that could be done to a normal raw magnet. This opens up a range of possible applications.
Ferrite pot magnets with screw sockets in use
A major advantage of pot magnets of all kinds is their versatility. When handled correctly, they can be reused over and over again and attached to the holding surface in no time at all.
Ferrite pot magnets with screw sockets are used primarily for mobile fixtures and suspensions. In this case, a hook or eyelet is often screwed into the pot magnet, which is then attached to the wall or ceiling. This allows ropes, cords and other hanging items to be fixed in the desired place for a short time and repositioned as needed.
Particularly practical: We offer our ferrite magnets with screw sockets in many sizes with either a stainless steel cup or a white coating.
The stainless steel version is perfect for outdoor applications, since both the magnet and the steel cup cannot rust.
The white-coated version comes with a screw-in hook and is designed for use in showrooms due to its design.
