Neodymium deep pot magnets
Neodymium deep pot magnets are magnet systems consisting of a neodymium raw magnet and a steel or brass casing. Magnet systems always work the same way: the steel casing protects the magnet and shields the magnetism from the surrounding surfaces. This way, the holding force only acts on the open holding surface.
This system differs from conventional neodymium pot magnets in its cylindrical shape and is designed for installation in various devices.

What is a neodymium deep pot magnet system?
A deep pot magnet system is a combination of a rod magnet (in this case neodymium) and a magnetic or non-magnetic sheath or holder that specifically guides, strengthens and protects the magnetic field of the rod magnet. These systems are designed to make optimal use of the magnet's holding power and to better concentrate or control the magnetic field lines.
Our neodymium rod magnet systems are constructed as follows:
- Rod magnet (neodymium): The core of the system is a high-performance neodymium rod magnet that provides the magnetic force. This magnet has a high remanence and ensures that strong magnetic fields are generated.
- Magnet system casing: Deep pot magnets are surrounded by a casing or housing made of steel or brass. This casing helps to focus the magnetic field and direct the magnetic force to specific areas, increasing the efficiency of the magnet system. The metal casing also protects the magnet from mechanical damage and corrosion.
- Concentrated flux: Often, bar magnet systems are designed to direct the magnetic field in a specific direction. By using pole shoes or special magnet designs, the magnetic field can be concentrated at the ends of the bar magnet, increasing the holding force in these areas.
- Mounting mechanisms: Our deep pot magnets are often threaded for easy mounting into machines or other equipment. These added structures make it easy to use the magnet in industrial applications.
