Holding magnets with hook or eyelet and furniture magnets for closing
Holding magnets combine all magnets with a holding or closing function. Hook magnets, eyelet magnets or magnetic catches for doors and flaps are prominent examples.
They are mainly used in the construction of furniture and trade fair booths, at the point of sale or in showrooms, to hold objects magnetically. Holding magnets are mobile and can be quickly repositioned by tilting.
In our shop, you will find a range of magnets with hooks or eyelets in various shapes and dimensions. Even large quantities can be delivered at short notice and ordered at affordable bulk prices.

Holding magnets: Efficient solutions for a variety of applications
You are probably familiar with typical sales displays with a series of presented products – for example at trade fairs or in showrooms. Did you know that small holding magnets are often used here to hold the products in line?
Holding magnets are specially designed magnets that are used to hold objects securely and stably in position. They usually consist of a magnetic core embedded in a steel or plastic housing. The outer casing provides increased stability and protects the magnet from external influences such as moisture or dirt. The special feature of holding magnets is their strong holding power in a small space. Despite their compact size, these magnets offer an impressive holding power and are ideal for fixing metallic objects without mechanical fasteners.
Small self-adhesive neodymium magnets for holding and closing are usually used to keep flaps or drawers magnetically closed. At the point of sale, they are attached to the shelf and to the back of the product. This keeps the products neatly in line, even with small vibrations. Holding magnets, like magnetic catches, are invisible helpers and are often built into flaps and drawers to keep them magnetically open or closed.
Magnets with a hook or eyelet are also used a lot at the point of sale. They hold cords, ropes or cables and keep things organized.
Furniture magnets: The invisible helpers for perfectly closing doors and drawers.
Furniture magnets are small but extremely useful components that ensure cabinet doors, drawers and other furniture close smoothly. They provide an elegant solution for holding doors securely in place without the need for visible locks or latches. A key advantage of furniture magnets is that they can be installed invisibly and thus do not affect the design of the furniture. In addition, they are particularly durable and provide years of reliable use.
Types of furniture magnets:
Depending on the application and the requirements of the locking function, there are different types of furniture magnets:
- Magnetic catches: Magnetic catches consist of a magnet and a counter plate. When the door closes, the metal plate is attracted to the magnet, holding the door in place. This type of furniture magnet is often used in kitchen and office furniture.
- Furniture clasps: These small magnets usually consist of two self-adhesive, very thin neodymium magnets. They are glued to furniture flaps, cupboards and chests of drawers to hold them open or closed magnetically.
- Door holding magnets: As the name suggests, these magnets are used to hold doors open. They are mounted on the door and the opposite wall and hold doors open magnetically. With a slight jolt, the door can be closed again.
