Plate magnet for separation and cleaning
Designed for quick and efficient cleaning of bulk material, granules and raw material flows. The plate magnet is mounted using the M5 internal thread on the side and filters out iron parts from your pre-material. It is typically installed hanging over the conveyor belt, but depending on the requirements, it can also be installed on the wall of a product channel or below a product stream.
The plate magnet can trap iron contaminants from 0.5 mm and is temperature-resistant up to 100°C. Cleaning is done manually by wiping the magnetic surface.
We have 5 standard sizes of plate magnets for various conveyor belts and product channels in our program. For particularly wide raw material flows, we recommend mounting several plate magnets.

What is a plate magnet?
A plate magnet is an indispensable component in industrial production processes when it comes to removing unwanted metallic impurities from materials. They ensure reliable separation and cleaning of bulk materials, powders or liquids, thus helping to ensure product quality and protect machines from damage caused by metal parts.
The plate magnet consists of a robust stainless steel shell with threads and several magnets installed inside. It is designed so that the field lines of the magnets are directed onto the holding surface in a concentrated manner and are amplified. Due to the permanent magnetism, it works extremely efficiently because it is independent of electricity and is practically maintenance-free except for the manual cleaning of the trapped iron parts.
Where are plate magnets used?
Plate magnets are used in industry to extract ferromagnetic particles such as iron, steel and other metals from the material stream. They are often installed above conveyor belts, chutes or production lines to ensure continuous cleaning and separation.
