Countersunk rubber magnets can be quickly and easily mounted with a countersunk screw. Screwed to various objects, they can be attached to magnetic surfaces such as iron, sheet metal or steel.
For example, a banner can be attached to a sheet metal facade with rubber magnets – without drilling!

Properties of countersunk rubber-coated magnets
Compared to conventional flat pot magnets, countersunk rubber-coated magnets have some distinct advantages:
- They are highly non-slip due to the increased friction between the magnet and the holding surface provided by the rubber coating.
- This also helps to prevent scratches, which is why countersunk rubber-coated magnets are very popular for painted surfaces.
- Another advantage is their resistance to weather and moisture. While normal neodymium magnets can rust over time, rubberized magnets are protected by the rubber coating. This makes them suitable for outdoor applications.
