Samarium-Cobalt pot magnet with threaded pin
Heat-resistant samarium cobalt pot magnets with threaded pins and a high-quality housing made of stainless steel grade 1.4404. These high-temperature magnets are designed for temperatures up to 350°C and, thanks to the stainless steel housing, are resistant to corrosion, acids and alkalis.
These properties make these pot magnets perfect for applications with extreme temperatures, such as in drying ovens or coating systems. Thanks to the high resistance of the housing, the magnet is also used for applications with aggressive media.

SmCo pot magnets with threaded pin up to 350°C
In many industrial applications, in drying ovens and in painting and powder coating plants, very high ambient temperatures are sometimes reached. This is a big issue in the magnet industry, because many magnets cannot cope with heat and are irreparably damaged.
Classic neodymium magnets are a good example of this. They are extremely popular and the most commonly purchased magnets because they have the highest adhesive force of all magnet types of the same size.
However, they have a major disadvantage: at an ambient temperature of 80°C, they permanently lose their adhesive force, up to the point of the magnet being destroyed. In industrial applications, such temperatures are quickly reached.
SmCo flat pot magnets with threaded pin are the perfect alternative for applications in which high temperatures occur. They achieve comparable magnetic forces to neodymium and are heat-resistant up to 350°C. Thanks to the threaded pin attached to the stainless steel pot, assembly is quick and easy.

Samarium cobalt flat pot magnets with stainless steel housing 1.4404
This product line was specially developed for applications with increased resistance requirements. This applies not only to factors such as ambient temperature, but also to applications with aggressive media such as alkalis or acids. In addition, these magnets are very well suited for long-term outdoor use, as they are not affected by weather conditions.
If you use samarium cobalt pot magnets with stainless steel housings in painting plants, the durable housing allows for chemical or thermal cleaning. These magnets can also be used as fittings in oven doors because they can withstand thermal stress.
Good to know: Thanks to the stainless steel housing made of 1.4404 quality, this product series is also suitable for use in the food industry.
