Ferrite pot magnets with countersunk borehole
Good holding power and quick to mount: ferrite countersunk pot magnets with a conical bore are very user-friendly, robust and versatile. The magnet made of hard ferrite can withstand temperatures up to 200°C and can be mounted with a countersunk head screw.
Alternatively, we also have pot magnets with cylindrical countersinking in our range.

Advantages of countersunk conical ferrite magnets
These pot magnets combine good holding power with easy assembly and are indispensable for commercial applications. The robust steel pot protects the magnet and at the same time increases its holding power. The ferrite pot magnet with conical countersunk bore can be quickly mounted by simply screwing it on and is immediately ready for use.
Areas of application include tasks as a holding magnet at the point of sale, in mechanical and tool engineering and in the workshop. Screwed to various devices and objects, they can be magnetized and adhere to all metal surfaces such as iron or sheet metal.
If the holding power of the countersunk ferrite magnet is insufficient, we also carry magnets of the same design with a neodymium magnet. This exceeds the holding force of ferrite many times over for the same dimensions. If it is not possible to use a countersunk head screw for mounting, a cylinder head screw can be used as an alternative. We have suitable ferrite pot magnets with cylindrical countersinking in our program.
Ferrite pot magnets with a conical countersink for outdoor use
Many magnets like neodymium are not suitable for outdoor use because they are prone to oxidization. In principle, ferrite magnets are resistant to oxidization and can also be used in environments with increased humidity. The steel pot can rust, but it is always provided with a protective zinc coating.
Therefore, countersunk ferrite pot magnets can be used outside without any problems. When handling them, you should just make sure that the coating on the pot magnet does not chip off (for example, due to strong force application).
