Neodymium magnets rubberized
Rubber-coated neodymium magnets are available as disc or block magnets. The rubber coating provides perfect corrosion protection and prevents the magnet from slipping on smooth iron surfaces.
Due to their properties, rubberized neodymium magnets are ideal for outdoor applications and in environments with high humidity. As long as temperatures do not exceed 60°C, the protection and function of the magnet is guaranteed for many years.

Rubberized neodymium magnets from Magna-C
Normally, neodymium raw magnets are coated with nickel or zinc to protect the magnet against corrosion. However, this coating is quite thin and can quickly be damaged during use, for example, by hitting something hard or being moved frequently.
As soon as this zinc or nickel coating is scratched, the magnet is susceptible to corrosion at this point and no longer protected.
Rubberizing neodymium magnets is an efficient way to prevent this problem. The rubber coating is a perfect protective layer for the neodymium magnet due to its durability and thickness and can withstand years of stress as long as temperatures do not exceed 60°C. In addition, our rubberized neodymium magnets are magnetic on both sides, which significantly increases their range of possible uses.
