Areas of application
The switchable magnetic base is used for the temporary mounting of objects such as brackets, lamps or measuring devices on metallic surfaces. The magnetic force can be switched on and off, allowing the magnetic base to be placed softly and precisely positioned at first. After the magnetic force is switched on, it holds the attached objects securely and firmly:
- Tool and apparatus construction: Using the threaded holes, objects such as lamp holders or holders for measuring apparatus can be attached and magnetically fastened to iron surfaces. This allows lamps and measuring devices to be flexibly mounted where they are needed at that moment.
- Laboratory and research: magnetic bases are used in test laboratories to secure tripods and testing devices. Thanks to their switchable magnetic force, they adhere gently and without residue to ferromagnetic surfaces. This is particularly advantageous for walls and fixtures that must not be altered by drilling or screwing.
