Areas of application
A welding magnet is a mounting aid used in welding and metalworking to hold workpieces at a specific angle. It provides an easy way to hold components in position without the need for additional holding devices or hands. After use, the workpiece and welding angle can be removed without leaving any residue.
- Welding: Magnetic welding angles are used to securely fix workpieces at standard angles such as 45°, 90° or 135°. They enable hands-free welding, as the magnet holds itself and the workpiece stable.
- Assembly work: They help to prepare and position metal parts before they are welded or stapled. Ideal for assembling frames, brackets or other metal structures. Mitre magnets can also hold workpieces in the desired position while drilling, sawing or grinding is being carried out.
