Art. Nr: 37454.SCHWARZ

Product features

  • Very high holding force despite their small size.
  • The rubber coating protects the magnet from the weather and moisture.
  • No slipping and scratching of your holding surface.
  • Low weight and small footprint.
  • Good temperature resistance up to 60°C.
  • Normal neodymium magnets can corrode over time due to damage to the coating. Neodymium magnets with a rubber coating all around remain protected from wind and weather even after years.

Areas of application

Rubberized neodymium raw magnets combine the best of both worlds: They are extremely strong thanks to the NdFeB magnet material and rubberized all around, which protects the magnet from the weather and prevents scratches on the adhesive surface. Due to the higher friction between the magnet and the surface through the rubber, the magnet is less likely to slip and can handle vertical loads better than a conventional, nickel-plated raw magnet. The following applications benefit greatly from these properties:

  • Mounting signs and displays: Indoor and outdoor, rubberized raw magnets can be used to securely and flexibly attach advertising signs and displays without damaging the surfaces. The rubber coating around the magnet protects it from moisture and thus from oxidation.
  • Outdoor applications: Thanks to their corrosion protection, these magnets are suitable for outdoor use, for example for attaching tarpaulins, banners or covers to metallic structures.
  • Electronics and prototyping: Rubber-coated neodymium magnets are a valuable tool in electronics development and prototyping. Their rubberized surface not only protects against short circuits, but also allows for secure attachment to sensitive surfaces. These magnets can be used to temporarily hold circuit boards, housing parts, or other electronic components together. This makes it easier to make adjustments and perform tests during the development phase.
  • Mounting tools and equipment: In workshops and production environments, rubberized magnets make a significant contribution to organization and efficiency. They can be attached directly to workshop walls, machines or workstations to hold screwdrivers, pliers or other metal tools. Thanks to the rubber coating, the surfaces of the tools and mounting points remain undamaged. When setting up machines or maintaining hard-to-reach areas, rubberized magnets can temporarily hold components so that technicians have both hands free.
