Product features

  • Robust, galvanized magnet system with a magnetic core made of ferrite.
  • Good holding power, which you can screw into the surrounding area using the cylindrical bore.
  • The steel cup protects the magnet and shields the magnetism from the outside.
  • The field lines are directed through the steel casing to the free holding surface, which increases the holding power of the magnet.
  • Thanks to the steel cup, these magnet systems are durable and more robust than raw magnets.

Technical Drawing

Areas of application

Ferrite pot magnets may have lower adhesive forces than neodymium magnets, but they impress with better temperature and corrosion resistance and lower manufacturing costs. The magnet can be quickly and easily screwed to its surroundings through the centered borehole with cylindrical countersink. They are particularly suitable for applications in demanding environments where robust properties and cost-effectiveness are important:

  • Light outdoor mounting tasks: For attaching lightweight signs, posters and decorative elements outdoors. Since ferrite is naturally corrosion-resistant, the pot magnet can withstand the elements. Mounted on the advertising message, it becomes magnetic and can be easily attached to suitable surfaces made of iron, steel or sheet metal. After use, the sign can be removed without leaving any residue by tilting it sideways.
  • Fixing covers and light components: In production environments with high ambient temperatures or where oils and light acids are used, ferrite pot magnets can be used to temporarily fix covers and light components during the manufacturing process.
  • Magnetic tool holder: The pot magnet can be mounted on walls and wooden surfaces through the borehole and used as a magnetic tool holder. Ferrite is a better choice than neodymium, especially in humid working environments, due to its corrosion resistance.

Accessories

Abrutschsichere Haftplatte Ø64x3mm zum Anschrauben für Magnete
Art. Nr: 34992
Non-slip steel adhesive plates Ø64x3mm
This screw-on plate provides an ideal surface for magnets to stick to surfaces such as wood or aluminum. The edge at the bottom prevents the magnet from slipping when vertically loaded.

Art. Nr: 65003
Ultra-tear-resistant, double-sided self-adhesive foam
The structure of raw magnets is comparable to porcelain. They are brittle and tend to splinter when handled mechanically. To ensure a reliable and long-lasting bond between the magnet and the other components, it is crucial to choose the right adhesive.
