Art. Nr: 33007
Ferrite block magnet 20x15x4.9mm
Ferrite magnets are very corrosion-resistant and can even handle weak acids, solvents or oils well. This opens up a wider range of applications and sets them apart from neodymium magnets. This ferrite block magnet 20x15x4.9mm is anisotropic and axially magnetized.

Areas of application
Ferrite raw magnets impress with their robust construction, cost-effective production and impressive durability. They are resistant to weak acids, solvents and oils, which makes them suitable for numerous applications. Although their holding power is not comparable to that of neodymium or SmCo magnets, it is perfectly adequate for most applications. Typical applications for ferrite magnets are:
- Domestic appliance manufacturing: Magnetic seals made of ferrite magnets are used in domestic appliances, for example in refrigerator doors, to ensure a tight seal. They are also used in magnetic couplings, such as in pumps and agitators, particularly in washing machines and dishwashers.
- Electrical engineering: Ferrite magnets are frequently used in loudspeaker systems to improve sound quality by means of their magnetic properties. They also serve as central components in DC and AC motors, where they are responsible for magnetising the fields.
- Magnetic filter systems: Our ferrite raw magnets are used in a variety of magnetic filter systems, such as bar separators. They are used to efficiently remove small iron particles from bulk materials. They are also used in round filter grates in flowing product streams, such as in pipelines, to reliably clean the material flow of fine iron particles.
