Many of these may seem insignificant at first glance, but can make a decisive difference when choosing a magnet. For example, a strong neodymium raw magnet cannot be installed in a drying oven due to the operating temperature. Similarly, all magnets with a coating are unsuitable for use in acid baths.

From customer-oriented special solutions to new magnetic ideas
A special magnetic solution does not always have to be complex. Our neodymium magnets with grip edge (Microdyms) are a good example of this. We were so impressed by this special magnet that it is now available as a standard product in our shop.
The original problem was quite simple: the customer needed a support for the application, which meant that our standard raw magnets were not suitable. These simply slipped through the existing hole.
So we selected a suitable size of neodymium bar magnets and fitted them with a grip edge. This prevented the magnet from slipping through the hole. This neodymium magnet with integrated grip edge not only solved the customer's problem, but also made an excellent desk magnet. It is strong, compact, easy to grip, and has an attractive silver design. Where magnets with colored plastic caps were previously used, these Microdyms are a resource-saving alternative.
In collaboration with our customers, we were able to turn an existing problem into a new magnetic idea.
