Areas of application
Self-adhesive steel tape for magnets and magnetic tape is a versatile solution for applications where magnetic adhesion to non-magnetic surfaces is required. Thanks to the strong foam adhesive, the steel tape can be attached to various materials such as wood, plastic or glass and then serves as an adhesive surface for magnets. The foam adhesive can also bridge slight unevennesses on the surface (e.g. with woodchip wallpaper).
- Office organization: Use self-adhesive steel tape to make surfaces in the office magnetically usable. A flexible steel strip that can be cut to size can be used to create a metal surface around the outer edge of the computer screen that holds notes or paper clips in a clearly visible and handy place using magnets. A strip of metal tape can be stuck next to the time clock in the entrance area to keep magnetically equipped chips and keys together in one place.
- Flexible signage: In retail stores, at trade shows or in showrooms, you can use the steel tape for interchangeable advertising signs or magnetic displays. This allows for quick adjustments for new campaigns or offers. If needed, signs with a magnetic finish and printed magnetic sheets can be quickly removed and replaced.
- Concealed magnetic mounting: Use the steel strip behind decorative elements or furniture panels to enable invisible magnetic mounting. This method is particularly suitable for design applications or high-quality interior fittings. Just make sure that the air gap (distance between the holding surface and the magnet) is not too large, as this will have a negative effect on the holding force.
