Areas of application
Neodymium magnet systems for curved surfaces have been specially designed for attachment to difficult surfaces such as bars or pipes. In some cases, such as repair and maintenance work, the working environment does not allow for the use of an alternative holding surface for magnet systems. Typical pot magnets and bar magnets with a flat magnetic surface tend to slip when attached to round surfaces, even under light force. Not so our magnet systems specially designed for curved surfaces, which, thanks to prism-shaped pole shoes, can be optimally attached to the curve and cannot be moved. The following applications benefit from this feature:
- Mounting for cameras or lighting systems: The magnet system is perfectly suited as a mounting for cameras or spotlights that need to be attached to railings or pipes, for example. The strong holding force and the adaptation to the shape enable secure positioning without slipping, which is particularly advantageous in film production, surveillance or at events.
- Temporary mounting on pipes and cylinders: This magnet system offers a simple and residue-free solution for temporary installations, such as attaching cables, signs or other objects to curved metal surfaces. The strong holding force holds objects securely without damaging the surface. This is particularly useful on construction sites or for event setups.
- Fixtures in production lines: The magnet system can be used as a flexible fixture for tools, devices and measuring equipment that need to be attached to round metal surfaces, such as machine housings, tripod tubes or industrial structures. Its high holding power, combined with the prism-shaped pole shoes, ensures that the attached objects remain securely in place even when vibrations or movement occur.
